Mrs. Prell has a passion for learning and guiding communities of learners in upper elementary school through early college. For over two decades, she taught middle school Language Arts and Social Studies Honors and College Prep. Most recently, she taught strategic math, strategic reading, AVID 6 and ELD (English Language Development) Core during the school day and served on several leadership teams. After school, she coaches students in reading, writing, vocabulary development and strategic learning through her private practice.
Her love of learning started with inspirational teachers her childhood. Consequently, many of her techniques are the result of observing, adopting and adapting best instructional practices as well as applying current research in education.
Mrs. Prell was named a Teacher of the Year in 2010. Teachers in Private Practice is her fifth business.
You've come to the right place if you want your child to improve in critical reading and writing skills.
